This news follows strong deployment of capital from 17Capital, reporting more than $2billion across 14 investments in 2024. In their respective positions, Ari will play a key role in sourcing, underwriting and executing investments, and Steve will support the growth of 17Capital’s investor relationships in the U.S., leveraging their expertise to help drive the firm’s strategic global growth. Ari will join 17Capital’s New York office and focus on expanding 17Capital’s investment opportunities in North America. He brings nearly two decades of experience in financial services, most recently from Barclays, where he spent 14 years on the Fund Finance Structuring team originating and structuring financing transactions across private equity, hedge funds and alternative asset portfolios. The NAV finance specialist continues growth with Brookfield, investing $1 billion across its private credit strategies.
