17Capital, the global go-to source of strategic financing for investors in private equity, is pleased to announce three promotions across our infrastructure team. Raj Shah to the role of Chief Financial Officer on 1st October 2022. Raj has been in the finance team since 2012, working closely with the current CFO, Oliver Pritchard. Oliver Pritchard will be staying with 17Capital and moving into the role of Chief Compliance Officer and Alison Franklin has been promoted to the role of Chief People Officer.
Raj Shah
Chief Financial Officer
Raj joined 17Capital from Bowmark Capital, where he was the Assistant Financial Controller with responsibility for corporate and fund accounting. Raj is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and holds an MSc in Technology Management from Queen Mary, University of London and a BEng (Hons) degree in Internet Engineering from Brunel University, London.
Oliver Pritchard
Chief Compliance Officer
Oliver has held the role of CFO since 2010 and has been integral to the business, having worked on Funds 2 through to 5 and on 17Capital’s first Credit fund. Prior to joining 17Capital, Oliver held senior roles at Mourant Group’s alternative assets fund administration business, and in Apax Partners’ finance department. During his time as CFO at 17Capital he has developed the team and the expertise held within it, Raj has made a significant contribution to this process, enabling a smooth transition.
Alison Franklin
Chief People Officer
Alison Franklin is Chief People Officer at 17Capital having joined in 2017. Prior to joining 17Capital, Alison worked at ICAP plc for nearly 15 years. During her time there she was the HR Director for the EMEA Global Broking division before becoming the Global Head of Talent Management for the Group. Alison has 25 years of financial services experience and started her career at MGM Assurance.
